Learning Unreal for environment art I started to block out the walls and shelf to get the proportions and the scale right to the character/player. It was fun to learn how to take proxy meshes from Unreal and turn them over to static meshes in Maya. It all started from a basic reference, but the main goal was to keep having fun while learning. I think I lost some hair with making the textures as seen in the Image Substance Designer Physically Based Materials but overall, I am happy with how they came out. Once I started adding the textures to the scene I knew the scene was almost done. I got to adding lights and the small details and realized the scene was finished. Overall, I am satisfied with the way it turned out.
